Areas to review

Look beyond
a score.

01

Discovery and indexing

Review how important pages are discovered, canonicalised and indexed. Check robots rules, sitemaps, redirects and internal linking against the intended site structure.

02

Search intent and page usefulness

Assess whether priority service, category and product pages answer the questions a potential customer needs resolved before making contact or buying.

03

Template and mobile experience

Sample important page types for usability, performance issues and content access. Separate template-wide problems from isolated pages.

04

Enquiry and measurement path

Follow the route to the form or conversion. Review what is measured, where data is missing and how the business distinguishes a useful enquiry.

05

Overlapping content

Identify pages competing to answer the same need and pages that deserve a clearer role. Recommendations can include improving, combining or repositioning content.

06

Implementation priorities

Group findings by business relevance, confidence and dependencies. Agree who can implement the work and how the outcome will be checked.

What you receive

Findings you can
hand to a team.

  • An executive summary of the main obstacles and opportunities.
  • A findings register with representative URLs and supporting evidence.
  • Prioritised technical and content recommendations.
  • A proposed sequence of work with dependencies and ownership to agree.
  • A walkthrough to clarify the findings and next decisions, if included in the scope.
Start with a simple brief

Your website.
Your business question.

Send the website address, the products or services you want to grow, your target customers and any recent changes. Mention a migration, sudden traffic change or previous audit if relevant.

Initial scoping can use public pages. If we proceed, Search Console and Analytics access may help distinguish technical issues from changes in demand. Access is requested for the agreed work; passwords are not needed in your enquiry.

Before you enquire

Questions worth asking.

How is an audit priced?

Pricing reflects the sites, page types, markets and depth of investigation. Share your website and goals to request a scoped proposal. Findings include context, evidence and priorities for the team doing the work.

How long does an audit take?

Timing depends on the size and complexity of the agreed review, available access and the people needed to answer questions. The proposal will state the delivery schedule.

Will you fix everything you find?

Implementation is agreed separately or included explicitly in the proposal. Some work may belong to your developers, content team or platform provider.

Can an audit explain a traffic drop?

It can investigate indexing, site changes, affected pages and available search data. A cause should be supported by evidence; an audit cannot guarantee a recovery.

Start with your business

Tell me where
you want to grow.

Share your website, priority services or products, target markets and the kind of enquiry you want. Include your timing, an indicative budget and whether you have an internal marketing or development team.

I’ll review your outline and reply to clarify the fit and scope. No account access is needed for the initial enquiry.

What happens next?

  1. We clarify the business goal and starting point.
  2. You receive a proposed scope, deliverables and fees.
  3. We agree responsibilities and access before work begins.

Already have an audit? Mention it. We can discuss implementation rather than repeat work.
